Epoxy is a fixed ratio adhesive that can be used for fiberglassing, laminating natural materials (plywoods, woods, found objects, etc.) and synthetic materials (plastics, ABS, HDPE, Metton, FRP, COOSA board, composite board.) 

Epoxy must be mixed in the correct ratios with hardener so it will cure to its full functional strength. Always refer to the user manuals and back of the containers for the correct ratio and cure times. Always refer to the back of the container for the correct ratio of resin to hardener. 

Epoxies are categorized as art/ hobby resin, laminating resin and casting resin. Each category is specific to its function, strength, uv stability and intended use. Hobby resin is not ideal for structural repairs, and casting resin is not ideal for structural repairs. Laminating resin is ideal for fiberglassing and structural work. Casting resin is ideal for river tables, deep pouring and clear finishing for indoor applications. Hobby resin is used for jewellery, crafting and smaller objects. 

Laminating Epoxy is used in industry and for repairs in the automotive industry, RV and trailers, carbon fibre parts (motorcycle, bicycle, aircraft and automotive), drone parts, hot tub and shower repairs, boats and clear finish cedar canoes and kayaks, and the heavy truck (vac truck) repairs. Laminating resins are compatible with fiberglass cloths like e-glass, s-glass, carbon fibre, aramids and kevlar to make complex structural parts or repair damaged objects.
